Serenity in Malibu: A Bedroom Coastal Escape
To capture the coastal vibe of Malibu, we began by painting the bedroom’s vaulted ceiling and exposed beams a pristine white. This choice instantly amplified the sense of spaciousness, making the room feel open and airy, as if it were breathing in the ocean breeze. The walls were painted in a two-tone scheme designed to evoke the tranquil hues of the Pacific. For the accent wall behind the bed, we selected a soft blue, its gentle tone mirroring the ocean. Craftsmanship defined every step of the process, from preparation to the final coat. We meticulously sanded and primed surfaces to create a smooth canvas, then used careful taping techniques to achieve razor-sharp lines between the blue accent wall, neutral walls, and white ceiling.
